Reply to date a girl who reads

A few days back I read a wondrous test about why you should date a girl that reads. I decided to write my own reply to that one, enjoy.

Life is hard, why make it harder than it is. Date a boy who reads. A boy who will understand that If you fall, you should get up. Date a boy who didn’t understand the fascination of the Amiga, but stayed inside for two weeks during summer just to read Enid Blyton. A boy that smiles when he gets seated next to a girl with a white curl in her hair, and immediately wanders away to that summer day when Polgara had his attention. A boy that got bullied for he’s lack of social skills and weird ways, but knew a way to wander of into the stories of Aslan. A boy that at the age of eleven threw away Shogun and kept reading Kitty instead, just to finish something.

Find a Boy that loves to travel by train, just for the simple reason that there is a bookstore at the train station. A boy who is happy to listen in on other people's conversations, but that will not start a new one.

You will not find this boy on the city's best café, but rather on that on the back street, the place where they have the extraordinary good muffins. Find a boy who started playing Dungeons and Dragons just to have the opportunity to share a fate with their fantasy heroes. When you are dating this boy try not to snub off his childhood memories of the Star Wars saga. And if you are willing to listen, expect that he knows what happened in book seven, eight and nine.

Dating a boy who can see the hedgehog's elegance is amazing, but can not put his finger on why. A boy that knows that together, you are less alone, but may have difficulty to make contact with others. A boy who loves words, who gets fascinated and floats on clouds, just because of the words that roll so well on the tongue.

When you date a boy who reads you will see that his character is based on the heroes and heroines. Who knows that life consists with more shades of gray than black and white solutions. A boy who’s willing to listen and says; it depends, when you ask the simplest question. A boy whose literary digressions about tomatoes are something so important that it should not be neglected.

A boy who reads dares to be fragile. So don’t worry, he’s not angry with you when he’s quiet, he just sulk because the most wonderful book that exists is about to end and he has already has begun to grief over that fact. Only for the next moment disappear into the next literary genius. Who believes that all writing isn’t great, but who can’t see the difference between good and bad literature in any other way one than that they affects different parts of the self.

Want to win the boy's heart, so do you bring a towel on towel-day.
